Angel Di Maria scores hat-trick as Juventus reach Europa League last 16

Juventus booked their place in the Europa League last 16 on Thursday night, with Angel Di Maria scoring a hat-trick in a 4-0 win over Malmo.

The Argentine international opened the scoring in the 18th minute, before adding a second just before half-time. Di Maria completed his hat-trick in the 71st minute, and Paulo Dybala added a fourth in stoppage time.

The win means that Juventus top Group H with 13 points, six points clear of second-placed Malmo. The Italian side will now face the third-placed team from Group G in the next round.

Elsewhere in the Europa League, Feyenoord secured their place in the last 16 with a 3-2 win over Partizan Belgrade. The Dutch side were trailing 2-1 at half-time, but goals from Luis Sinisterra and Orkun Kokcu turned the game around.

Monaco also booked their place in the next round, with a 2-0 win over Sturm Graz. Wissam Ben Yedder scored both goals for the French side, who top Group B with 11 points.

In the Europa Conference League, Bodo/Glimt continued their impressive run with a 2-0 win over Celtic. The Norwegian side have now won all five of their group games, and they top Group F with 15 points.

Roma also made it through to the last 16, with a 1-0 win over CSKA Sofia. Tammy Abraham scored the only goal of the game for the Italian side, who are second in Group C with 10 points.

The Europa League and Europa Conference League round of 16 draw will take place on Friday, February 25. The first legs of the knockout round will be played on March 10 and 11, with the second legs on March 17 and 18.
